Here's some recommendations on how to get to Hood River and where to stay!

Travel Note

It's Peak Season in Hood River!

Peak season in Hood River is mid-June through mid-October. This small town's main hotels will book up and sell out quickly. Something to consider: look at Air BnB and other such services for a weekend home rental.

Travel Note

Ride Share Services

There are no ride share, cab, taxi or any other services like this in Hood River as of yet. You will need to carpool or rent a car to get around. We are looking into getting transportation for the big day!

Flight

PDX: Portland, Oregon

In order to get to Hood River, you will need to fly into Portland, PDX. Then rent a car and drive for about an hour to Hood River. The drive is beautiful, right along the Columbia Gorge! From there, keep your car with you, there are no ride share services like uber or lyft. Flights from Houston: United offers 3 direct flights and is the only airline that offers direct flights! If you don't mind a connection, American Airlines offers well priced airfare and a way to get to PDX with a quick layover in Dallas. Southwest also offers affordable flights that connect in various cities in-between such as Denver, Las Vegas, and Phoenix. From Pittsburgh: there are no direct flights. On United and it looks like the best and quickest flights connect through Chicago. American Airlines also offers affordable flights with connections in Charlotte, Chicago and Dallas. We recommend checking airfare and booking sooner than later for best deals!
