Are you concerned about the Covid risk and traveling?

We understand these are uncertain times. Do not feel obligated to attend the wedding if you are uncomfortable. We want everyone to be able to enjoy themselves and relax whether that's in person or from afar.

What is currently happening in Oregon with Covid?

Answer

The state is open but many establishments may require proof of vaccination to enter or sit indoors. Masks are required while indoors and not actively eating and drinking.

Will Oregon's rules for Covid cause the wedding to cancel?

No.

Will masks be required at the wedding?

Answer

Masks are required regardless of vaccination status in all indoor and most public outdoor spaces. Please bring a mask to all gatherings.

What's the weather like in October?

Answer

Daily high temperatures average from 72°F to 57°F, rarely falling below 49°F or exceeding 83°F. Daily low temperatures are from 48°F to 41°F, rarely falling below 32°F or exceeding 56°F. You will need to pack a coat, the wedding venue is all outdoors.

What about Uber or Lyft to get around?

Currently there are no ride share services in Hood River. Please drink responsibly!

Will there be a virtual option to attend the wedding?

Yes! We will be setting up a Zoom option for the ceremony. More to follow.

Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

While we love your kids, they are not invited to the wedding.

What about dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please communicate these to us and we will try our best to accommodate. The wedding reception dinner and apps will be almost all gluten free. There will also be several vegetarian and vegan options.

When should we book our hotels and flights?

Answer

Please book your hotel ASAP!!! It is peak season in Hood River, and hotels will be selling out for sure. Book with a cancellation policy incase something happens and you can no longer attend. Flights seem to be pretty frequent, monitor airfare for the best deals. Some airlines don't publish fares until 6 months out.
