Our paths first crossed in 2016 at my sister’s travel ball tournament in Myrtle Beach. We didn’t speak that day — just a passing moment — but a year later, Jake messaged me on Instagram asking about EC All-Star baseball… and from there, everything changed. We officially started dating on October 7, 2017, and life since then has been filled with laughter, growth, and so many unforgettable memories. In May 2025, during a trip to visit my sister in Japan, Jake proposed on a quiet beach on Tokashiki Island. It had been raining all day, but the skies cleared just in time for the most beautiful and intimate moment — just the two of us. We’ve always balanced each other in the best ways — Jake is the planner, the calm, and the double-checker; I’m the go-with-the-flow one who definitely left something behind. He’s the most kindhearted and thoughtful person I know, and I feel incredibly lucky to be spending forever with him. We can’t wait to begin this next chapter and celebrate surrounded by the people we love most!
