Elisa: Chris and I met on a dating app. My profile pictures made it super obvious I was a Disneyland obsessed person, so he started the chat asking me whether or not I've been to Star Wars Land. Once the small talk started, it didn't take long for him to ask me out for a drink. Our first date went so well that our supposed 1-2 hour long drink extended to a 4 hour fun filled evening. We started seeing each other 2-3 times per week after that because we enjoyed hanging out with each other so much. Chris: Our first date was at Bar Louie in Tustin. I did not confirm on the day-of, having set the date only two days before. I have since learned she was quite nervous I wouldn't show because I didn't text her until I was there. I'm glad she stayed! We had a great time and agreed to visit Disneyland together by the end of the night.

Southern California has many picturesque beaches and Chris and Elisa visited several of them in 2019 and 2020. Despite not particularly enjoying the water or the sand, the setting always drew them together. Many of their most memorable dates were to Laguna, Redando, Newport, and Santa Monica beaches.

With Chris closing in on the end of his graduate studies, it was time to make a move. Chris had secured his first job in the Bay Area and Elisa had agreed to move too, having found a new job herself as well. Chris and Elisa moved to Redwood City, where they now reside with their cat, Kit.
