Addi and Alex met early on in high school through but didn't become friends until their senior year musical, Sister Act. Addi in tech and designed the stage for the musical that year. Alex played the trumpet in the Pit Band. Addi liked to sneak down to the pit band during rehearsal to talk to her friends who sat next to Alex. Soon enough these visits down to the pit became just as much about seeing Alex as they did seeing her other friends. During the second semester Addi asked Alex to help her compose music for the spring play and the two began spending more time together creating original music for Eurydice. Second semester senior year Addi asked Alex to the prom using hand made cards with quotes on them, and a scavenger hunt around their school. Alex said yes. A week later the two officially started dating.

Addi and Alex began dating at a time of change in their lives. Just weeks before they began dating, they had made decisions on where they would be going to college and were making plans for their lives beyond high school. Most people wouldn't recommend starting to date someone at this point but the two had been good friends for a while at this point and decided to give it a go. As they planned for college and the rest of their lives, they realized how perfect of a fit they were for each other. Planning for college also became planning to see one another until both Addi and Alex realized this wasn't just casual dating but meant to be. Addi and Alex continued dating through their high school graduation and into college. Addi studied English and Alex pursued film. Together the two worked together on dozens of creative projects in writing, film, visual, visual media, art exhibits, and TTRPGs.

The first concert that Addi and Alex attended together was Dodie, in 2019. When the opener stepped onto stage, they fell in love with his music. At their wedding, several of his songs will be featured (including their first dance!) They are thrilled to have the perfect story to go along with what will forever be their song from Adam Melchor.

Addi is a naturally inquisitive person so planning a surprise for her is down right impossible in most cases. Luckily, Alex had a few years to plan. On December 18, 2023 Alex and Addi went up to Keystone, CO for what Addi thought was a getaway with her then boyfriend's family. Addi was told that she would be taking engagement photos for Alex's brother and his fiancé. Little did she know that Alex had worked with her family and closest friends to propose to her at Sapphire Point. After purposefully missing a few turns to give their friends and family more time to set up, Alex walked Addi down the snowy overlook and asked her to be his wife. She said yes and friends and family sprang out from their hiding places to celebrate.
