Yes, summer evening garden attire is appropriate.
Guest arrival begins at 4pm, and the ceremony starts at 4:30pm.
The ceremony will take place outside, among the forest our venue’s property boasts, at the Willow Chapel. Feel free to look it up so you have an idea of the setting! The reception will take place inside the Black Iris Estates ballroom.
Expect mild to moderate humidity. In June, temperatures average between 68 & 90 degrees. Big range, we know - expect hot summer weather the whole time you’re here!
Head to the mansion’s garden, terrace, and sunroom for appetizers and drinks. The ballroom doors will open when it’s time for the reception to begin.
Yes! We are excited to offer a variety of food options with "action stations" around the room.
As you know, the bride is a very "picky eater", and wants everyone (including herself) to have options throughout the evening. Our caterer is conscious of many allergies and dietary needs, and there will be many safe and delicious food options for all of our guests. If you have allergies to: gluten, nuts, dairy, or shellfish, we've got you covered! If you have no allergies or food sensitivities, you're also in luck!
Our celebration will be child free. We appreciate your understanding!
We are registered through Zola, and our registry is easily accessed through our website. If you're unsure what to get us, we have a "most-wanted" gift listed first!
If you have a plus one, it will be indicated on your invitation. Our wedding is invited guests, counting plus ones, only.
We care about the health and safety of all the people we love, and have a few considerations in place: We are asking that all those planning on attending our celebration are fully vaccinated from COVID-19. We strongly suggest getting tested for COVID-19 before traveling, and ask that if you are aren’t feeling well or have tested positive that you prioritize your health and kindly do not attend. Of course, the state of the ongoing public health crisis could change at any time, so we ask that you check back for updates as the date draws closer.
