We’re getting married!

Out with her friends one night, Elle was one of few people left in the bar. While Val (one of the co-maids of honor) and her boyfriend were together on the dance floor, Elle decided to make friends with others at the bar. hey One of the guys brandished a sun tattoo on his arm, just like she did. This guy, Cassey (one of the co-best men), was feeling more bold than usual, and as they talked and more friends gathered, the topic of Greek life came up. Elle belonged to a sorority and Cassey was, to put it delicately, not thrilled to hear this fact. With incendiary words, he dismissed her (which was fine by her, she had to pee anyway). Ryan learned about Cassey’s colorful exchange with “some girl in the other bar”, and strolled in to apologize for his friend’s behavior. Their eyes met and before he could finish his apology, she knew she recognized him. Months of fleeting glances, of just narrowly missing each other ran through her head. They met briefly in the early winter, played a card game with some friends at the same bar, and parted without a way to find each other again besides fate. “I know you from somewhere,” she grinned. “And I can’t let you leave this bar without my phone number.” As he typed his area code into her phone (his was dead, go figure), she stopped him. “Where in the world is that area code from?” “Indiana,” Ryan chuckled. Elle couldn’t help but ask, “So how the hell did you end up in Greeley, Colorado?” Ryan replied, “It’s actually a funny story - I’d love to tell you over dinner sometime.”
