Sara and Sam really are the textbook definition of "childhood best friends". Friends since they were 5, their friendship has survived it all. Distance, boys, heartbreak, loss, and everything in between has been no match for these two. Content to watch movies, eat pizza, and just generally hang out, you can usually find these two curled up beside each other on a couch in relaxed silence. Sometimes you don't need to talk all the time to know that someone is in your corner no matter what.

Kenzi Kuhn (Mundkowsky)

Matron of Honor

Kenzi and Sam go all the way back to fourth grade at Girl Scout camp where they bonded and became pen pals. They lost contact for a couple of years until Kenzi found Sam on Facebook in seventh grade. Once they reconnected it was like no time had passed and these two were as thick as thieves. Pasta salad, 3Oh!3, and music are the easiest things to associate with these two. You can usually find them dancing around the kitchen, playing video games together, or lounging on the couch together whenever they have time.

Emily Bogert

Emily and Sam have been friends since grade school. They met at a summer program at the community center and have been inseparable, at least in heart, ever since. Memories from robotics, working together at Dairy Queen, and baking brownies at 2 am all fall under their friendship. These two can always be found laughing, making terrible puns, and exploring Boston together when Sam comes to visit. They've always got each other's backs and are fiercely loyal to each other.

Ash Long

Ash and Sam go all the way back to 4th grade when they finally got over the fact they hated each other and realized they actually made pretty good friends. Fast forward well over a decade and these two are crazy close. Road trips, ramen nights, and concerts are how these two tend to spend their time. If they can help it, you'll never find one without the other close behind. Ash has also become extremely close with Andrew and the two can usually be found playing video games and picking on Sam.

Eleni Bligiannos

Sam's "Greek sister", these two met freshman year of college when Eleni lived up the hallway. From crazy nights out to Eleni showing Sam and Andrew around Philadelphia, the good times never stop. While they don't get to see each other very often the Facetime conversations between Eleni and Sam can last for hours and the quality of their friendship has never been in question. By far the "boujeest" of Sam's friends, Eleni is always down to talk fashion and makeup, while chowing down on pizza and wings.

Emily Lathrop

When Sam was a freshman in college she had a hard time making friends, but this didn't stop Emily. Both of them were in the same honors cohort together and quickly became very close. They worked on projects together, celebrated triumphs, and supported each other through the hard times. Sam and Emily shared an apartment together during Emily's last year at IUP and could usually be found, and still can be found, cooking together or watching a ridiculous amount of Grey's Anatomy in the living room.

Samantha Adams (Shreckengost)

Bridesmaid

Sam Squared, as these two affectionately call themselves, have been two peas in a pod since seventh grade. After six years together during concert band and many classes together, it is no surprise that two of their favorite things to bond over is music and reading. They have also been known to bake and dance around the kitchen at the brides' parents' house at all hours of the night. Even with Sam now living in upstate New York, these two are as close as ever.
