We first met on Hinge in December 2022. We exchanged a few words and followed each other on Instagram, but it wasn’t until Adam replied to one of Nicole’s stories—“Happy birthday to your pops!”—that things really began. From there, small talk grew into plans for a first date, which eventually turned into our love story. Who knew that Nicole’s dad’s birthday would be the spark that set everything in motion? In our first year together, Adam was living in Oakland while Nicole was in Castro Valley, so we split our time equally between the two cities. Each week, one of us was living out of a duffel bag as we figured out how to weave our lives together. When Adam’s lease was up, we knew it was time for him to make the move to the suburbs. Four years—and one little poodle named Penny—later, here we are. We are so blessed not only to have fallen in love with each other, but also with each other’s families and friends. We couldn’t be more excited to share this special day with each and every one of you!
