Beach Cocktail Attire: We want everyone to feel comfortable and their best self! If you prefer a linen suit or a cocktail dress, or would like to wear a gown & tie - we're just happy to have you. There aren't any events on the beach, so you don't have to make accommodations for your shoe selection.

Weather

Daily high temperatures in February are around 80°F, rarely falling below 74°F or exceeding 86°F. Daily low temperatures are around 61°F, rarely falling below 57°F or exceeding 65°F - it can get chilly at night so be sure to bring a jacket!

No personal photography during the ceremony please!!!!!! We are having a small wedding in a small place, so we ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. Phones that are held up will be very noticeable in our photographer's photos. We want to see your smiling faces in our photographer's photos, not your phone.

Taxis

Answer

Sprinter-van sized taxis are everywhere. Hotels and restaurants will call one for you and communicate where you need to go with them. Please do not plan on using a taxi to commute to and from the airport - check the "Airport and Transportation" tab for a recommendation.

Water and Essentials

Answer

Your hotel will provide water for you, but if you feel like you need to get water in bulk - you can grab everything you need from the nearby Walmart or Costco. A taxi will wait for you outside.

Answer

Cabo is very accepting of US dollars. I'd keep $20s for taxis on hand at all times, they can't always break big bills. Restaurants will accept cash, Visa, and Mastercard. Amex isn't widely accepted.

Visiting The Cape as a Non-Guest

Answer

You will be allowed in as a guest on the wedding day. During the remainder of your stay, The Cape has a few restaurants and bars that open to visitors at 6pm. The “Sunken Bar” is in the lobby area and is open during the day. The Cape is apparently pretty strict about non-guests visiting the pool.

The Cape is a Hyatt property. You can book on points but you won’t get the block rate.

Your presence is a present! And many of your already gifted us amazing wedding presents during our wedding celebration so that is MORE than enough. We do have a registry if you'd like to gift us something, but we appreciate the *small investment* you made to join us.
