Arriving to Amsterdam
By plane
We recommend using the train station in the terminal at Schiphol Airport - tickets and info are on the main concourse above the station, and everyone speaks English. Alternative is Uber or Bolt which has a dedicated pick up. We advise against the shouting taxi drivers who loiter outside the terminal as they tend to overcharge
By train
Depending on your arrival, it’s likely Central Station, Zuid (South) or Lelylaan (close to our home). From these, trams and buses connect to most parts of the city and you can tap on or off with cards
By Road
Depending on where you’re staying, we suggest to find parking there or nearby - eg parking lot. Street parking can be expensive for a whole weekend, although it's free on Sundays in some neighborhoods
