What is the dress code?

One of the most hotly discussed topics at any wedding, so please see the below as an attempt to guide and make things easy!

Friday drinks - come rocking up to our new house in an outfit that's 'you'.

Answer

When we bought the house Adam said: 'we will be socialites and have parties!'. So it's time to be a (fake) socialite. We're happy to dress up a little, but no need to stress about the perfect outfit. Just grab that gorge dress or cool casual suit combo that you've never really had an event to wear it for and show up looking your fabulous self!

Wedding Day - Semi Formal Attire.

We've come to the conclusion that we have very sexy friends. And we want you to out-do yourself on our wedding day in a semi formal attire dresscode. Think of beautiful gowns (length is totally up to you), dreamy dressy separates, gorgeous pantsuits, a sexy suit (and tie if you choose) To help: jeans, polo shirts and sports sneakers are not in this dress code

When do we need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 31st 2026. This allows us to consider alternatives should you sadly not be able to join some or all of the event

Where is the venue for the wedding event?

Answer

The Houthavens is a newly gentrified area on the waterfront of Amsterdam. Think of old the canal house vibes, but done up in a modern style. Our venue 'Ferry' is a converted, well, ferry. It's located at Haparandadam 50, right on one of the piers which sits on the Ij River. Bus 48 stops close to the venue from Central Station, we also recommend Ubers or cycling to the event Yes, we said cycling :-)

Can you accommodate dietary requirements?

Have you met Lou? So yes, of course. Please include any in your RSVP and we will take care of you for all of the different events

Will transport be provided?

We figure you are not only sexy, but also pretty self reliant. So this is for guests to manage themselves - please see our guide above

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, but note it will be paid parking as the venue is moored on a public pier. You can use Easypark, ParkBee (indoor parking) or pay directly at the machines located nearby Bike parking is readily available, and free!

Can we take pics during the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we are cool with this. But please feel free to whisper / gesture to another guest if their selfies / arm in air is too much We'll also check in with the photographer if there are any do's and don'ts and get back to you if so

Did you really plan to get married on Adams birthday?

Answer

Yes, well. Sort of, as it's his birthday on September 6th... But the date just works. And we don't think there's a more amazing way to celebrate your birthday, then as a newly wed with all of your favorite people around you! It's also a super easy way to remember our anniversary 🥂
