Michael is one of kind; so misunderstood, but what's a world without enigma? His laugh is the most contagious in the world, his mind is brimming with profound thoughts, and he is always trying to better himself and bring others along with him. He is always trying to learn new things, yet doesn't stick to his comfort zone of learning. Michael and Adam have been through a lot together, such as working at Starbucks and attending the same community college along with Peter, and many other life-altering experiences. Michael and Adam just understand each other, even if they claim not to, which is part of what makes Michael the Best Man for this wedding.

Gaby is FUNNY and has a heart as big as the ocean! She is Rocio's oldest friend with plenty of funny stories to share about their many adventures. Her love for the Lord is so abundant that everyone around her gets to experience that same love. When Gaby and Rocio were 13, they decided that their church needed a mission ministry, so they talked to the pastor and got his support. Over the years they travelled to Danville VA, the eastern shore, and Puerto Rico on countless mission trips. Gaby is currently fulfilling her lifelong dream of full-time service to the Lord.
Sean Stewart

A close friend made at the end of high school, Sean was one of the first regular attendees at a Bible study organized by Adam and Peter. After leaving for university, Sean and Adam kept in touch. Sean's persistent drive for betterment inspires Adam to do the same. Anyone who meets Sean will get to know one of the world's best conversationalists and a true Sly Cat.

Abi is the sweetest friend! She is loyal, authentic, and joyful and one of the greatest friends a gal could ask for! Abi constantly inspires Rocio with the ways that she puts 100% into all of the roles in her life - being a daughter, a sister, a friend, a soon-to-be wife for her soon-to-be husband, a doggy mom, and an elementary school teacher. In all roles, Abi strives to bring out the best in others. Her sincerity allows anyone who gets to know her to glow up inside and out.
Shaun Villaneueva-Unger

What makes Shaun a great friend isn't just that he and Adam share a love of hardcore music, diverse foods, and quality coffee (although those contribute), but that Shaun has always been a brother to rely on during some of the hardest parts of life. What makes Shaun great is his love for his wife Reina, and his drive to life live to the fullest. On top of all of that, Shaun helped Adam buy Rocio's engagement ring, helped plan the engagement surprise, and helped the whole thing go off without Rocio suspecting a thing.
Reina Villanueva-Unger

When Rocio first met Reina (shoutout to Don Taco in Old Town Alexandria), they almost instantly became besties over their mutual love of books. They began texting more often than Shaun and Adam text, recommending their favorite or most recent reads. A typical conversation between the two will include venting about the difficulties of being a good ethnic daughter, overflowing with praise for good films, and just feelings in general. Reina is the kind of friend who always validates feelings, encourages growth, and offers both comfort and wise words. On top of all of that, she played a critical role in the surprise engagement that Adam sprung on Rocio, gifting the couple with truly beautiful photos and memnories of that day.

Little brother to the bride and the coolest soon-to-be little brother-in-law that Adam could ever ask for. He's a musical prodigy, a skater dude, and total savage, but most importantly he has a good heart. He cares about people, is a loyal friend, and is a loving son and brother. He is a blessing to all who get to know him.

Maria is Rocio's sorority sister, big sister, and fellow lover of all things Harry Potter, Star Wars, and Two Door Cinema Club! She is the absolute coolest gal and if you ever need someone to explain feminism to ya', she's your gal. Over the 3 years of knowing each other through their undergraduate experiences, Maria was the go-to support system for Rocio, offering a much needed home-away-from-home comfort that helped Rocio grow, love herself, and love Harry Potter on a even deeper level. The two have matching jumpers embroidered with the words "expecto patronum". Whenever Rocio conjures her patronus, she thinks back to memories with Maria.

As one of Adam's best friends, Jacob has always been the perfect combination of wise counsel and comedic relief in times of distress. Jacob's integrity has always inspired Adam, and now Jacob and his wife Taylor get to inspire both Adam and Rocio. Additionally, Jacob is like the older brother that Adam's sister, Katie, always wanted. More than that, he is a man of focus, of commitment, and of sheer *cough* will.
Katie Mackie

Katie is Adam's little sister and also the feistiest human to walk the planet. She loves deeply and roasts fully. In a lot of ways, Katie reminds Rocio of her own little brother, so Rocio immediately felt love for her soon-to-be sister-in-law. Katie's brazen confidence (or recklessness), sense of humor, desire to be connected to the whole world, and her overwhelming love for her friends, acquaintances, and even enemies are all qualities that Rocio admires about Katie. Katie treats Rocio like an older sister, which fills a missing link in both of their lives. The two can vibe entirely without Adam around, talking about style, siblings, and struggles.
Peter Willis

Peter is Adam's oldest friend and through years of CSB, Bible study, community college, working with Michael at Starbucks, and much more, Peter has remained Adam's rock and will be just that no matter where everyone ends up. Most of Adam's best memories from growing up have Peter in them. Peter is also soon to be married to Namanda, so it's pretty obvious that he is a five-star man.
Namanda Willis

A gem of a friend with a heart that loves unconditionally! Namanda is a friend that reminds Rocio that the Lord is above everything and always good, and inspires Rocio with her genuine kindness and love for others, joy for all of life during the best of times and during the worst of times, and her ability to interact with anyone in any situation with overwhelming positivity. In Adam's close circle of friends, Namanda was the one that made Rocio feel most welcome into the group. Her big, bright smile puts everyone at ease. Truly no one but Peter is good enough to deserve Namanda.
Tim Mallett

Tim is a truly exceptional person, and easily the funniest person in the entire world. Through three years of mission trips ranging from Boston, to San Francisco, to Costa Rica, Tim and Adam have lived in the same houses for extended periods of time and seen the world together. Yet despite all that tension, the two friends have never stopped wanting to hang out, try new things, make new friends, and get into more trouble. Tim is the life of every party and one of the truest friends a guy could have.

After meeting at Christopher Newport University, Monica and Rocio became instant friends! Monica is funny, intentional, and lovely in every way. Over the years, Monica and Rocio have read countless books through their book club and continue to share film and book experiences. When Monica married her husband, Steve, Rocio had the honor of being a bridesmaid. Since then, Monica has been Rocio's go-to person for the wholesome content that the two of them thrive on. Monica loves all of her friends according to the love that each friend needs without compromising one bit of what makes herself special. Her appreciation for and love of sharing quality storytelling, magic making, and true art are all qualities that the world needs more of.

Matt is the younger brother that Adam never had yet always wanted. Travelling the world, cooking up new and wild recipes, and getting frustrated with Tim are just a few of the things they do together. Unless he is playing a videogame, Matt has the most chill demeanor on the planet. He is always able to talk sense into a senseless situation, and his sense of humor and comedic timing gets the best laugh out of any attentive audience.

Christian and Rocio have spent countless years going on mission trips and playing in the worship band together. The two share a mutual love for Naruto (although Rocio really just loves Kakashi Sensei). His confidence in who he is source of inspiration to all. Christian is a wonderful man and has been one of Rocio’s closest friends for most of her life. For years, Rocio has wanted nothing more than for two of her best friends to date, and now few things warm Rocio's heart more than seeing Christian's wholesome love for Gaby. He is the only man worth bucking tradition for, which is why it is truly an honor that he agreed to be Rocio's only bridesman.
