Wintertime in Breckenridge is a busy season. We recommend booking lodging as soon as possible. Availability fills up 6 months in advance. Flights are always available.
Breckenridge is a very popular ski town. The winter is off season for weddings but is peak season for skiing. It sits at 9,600 ft elevation so be prepared to have to adjust to the altitude. There is a free bus that runs through the town, with stops near most rental houses and downtown. The Lodge has a free shuttle as well for people who stay there.
Our wedding will be semi-formal. Gentlemen - We kindly ask that you wear a suit (with or without a tie) or a dress shirt with trousers. Ladies - Evening gowns, dressy separates, or midi-to knee-length cocktail dresses are all great options. After the ceremony guests are free to change into boots/winter shoes.

Yes, we are excited to celebrate with family of all ages!
Both the wedding ceremony and reception will be indoors. However, the deck overlooking the mountains at The Lodge will be open to all guests during the wedding reception. We will have fire pits and outdoor heaters but recommend you bring a heavy jacket so you can spend some time on the deck and enjoy the beautiful view of the Rocky Mountains!
