We are organizing multiple events for our wedding weekend, so we ask that you RSVP as soon as you can! The deadline to RSVP is April 4th, 2025. If you have not RSVP'd by this date, we will have to count you as a 'no'. Please refer to the RSVP page where you can RSVP to each event!
While we would love to accommodate a plus one for every guest, we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation due to limited space. If you have received a plus one, they will be on your invitation and will appear under your name when you RSVP on our website. Thank you for understanding!
As much as we love your little ones, our welcome party and wedding day are adult-only events with the exception of immediate family.
The ceremony will begin at 4:30 PM. Guests may arrive and be seated in the ceremony space beginning at 4 PM. Please do not arrive later than 4:15 PM so that we may begin our ceremony on time.
We'd love to see our favorite people get dressed up for our big day! The wedding day dress code is formal attire. Ladies can wear floor length, tea length or midi formal dresses. Gentleman can wear a suit and tie. For the welcome party, the dress code is cocktail attire. No jeans for either event please!
Check-in time depends on which hotel you've reserved a room at. For The George Washington, check-in time begins at 3 PM. For the Fairfield, check-in time begins at 4 PM. You may ask at the time of your reservation for an earlier check-in time if needed.
We have reserved a block of rooms at the George Washington and Fairfeld Inn and Suites - Washington Casino area for 5/16 and 5/17. You are welcome to head back to Washington (it's about a 40 minute drive from the welcome party location) to stay at one of the above hotels or you can reserve a hotel room closer to The Foundry should you wish. We did not book an additional hotel block for a hotel in the North Shore area. If you wish to stay closer to The Foundry, we recommend the Hyatt Place - North Shore! This hotel is a short walk from The Foundry.
The city offers street parking that is $3/hour and free after 6 PM. There are also 3 additional parking lots and a parking garage 1 block away from The Foundry.
Yes, there will be free Valet Parking available for our guests who do not have a reservation at the hotel.
The Fairfield Inn and Suites has a partnership with The George Washington Hotel and provides a small shuttle for transportation to/from the George Washington. You can inquire about using the hotel shuttle services when you call to reserve your room or at check-in. The shuttle will be able to drop off guests for the ceremony and pick guests back up at the end of the reception. The shuttle can only accommodate up to 6 guests at one time, so please notify the front desk at the Fairfield if you plan to use this service. There will also be free valet parking at the George Washington and you will be able to leave your car overnight if you would prefer to drive to the ceremony, leave your car, and Uber back to the Fairfield.
All events on the day of the wedding will be taking place indoors!
Yes, there will be an open bar during cocktail hour and the reception! Drinks are on us - hangover is on you. Come ready to celebrate!
