Transportation will not be provided, so we recommend renting a car or arranging a ride. Be mindful that rideshare services can be limited in mountain areas. It is best to stay within close proximity to the venue - Overlook Barn, Banner Elk.
The venue is located in the mountains, so expect winding roads and some elevation. We recommend allowing extra travel time and avoiding late arrivals.

Formal attire is requested. Think elegant and dressed up for a special evening at Overlook Barn. Since it’s in the mountains, we recommend bringing something warm like a coat, wrap, or shawl to stay comfortable, especially after sunset.
We intend to have the ceremony indoors if the weather is too cold. Cocktail hour will take place in a heated barn overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains. After cocktail hour, guests will return to the main barn for dinner and the reception.
