Flight
The best way for US folks to arrive would be to fly into Buffalo, New York and drive across one of the 3 bridges into Canada. If you're struggling to find good flights into Buffalo, you can also fly into Pearson airport in Toronto (YYZ). However, tickets may be more expensive and the drive to Niagara-on-the-Lake is longer (1.5 hours from Toronto).
Travel Note
From the Buffalo airport, it is about a 45-55 minute drive to Niagara-on-the-Lake (which is about the same regardless of which bridge you cross). It's easiest to rent a car for the drive. For those who'd rather avoid driving, several shuttle services operate between BUF and Niagara Falls, including Niagara Shuttle and BUF Buffalo Airport Taxi Service. You could take a shuttle or Uber from the Buffalo airport to Niagara Falls, NY and walk across the Rainbow Bridge border crossing. From there, you could take the WEGO shuttle or another Uber to Niagara-on-the-Lake. For anyone flying into YYZ (Toronto), there are several bus services available if you prefer not to rent a car.
Travel Note
There are many options in the Niagara region to stay. It’s a popular destination for tourists and since our celebration is in the summer, we’d recommend booking accommodation as early as possible! 1. Airbnb/VRBO is the most common in the area - this is our top recommendation especially if you can coordinate booking with friends or family members. 2. The Prince of Wales hotel is just across the street from our venue. It's a great location if you're looking for a luxury hotel directly downtown. Rates run from around $300 - $400 CAD a night ($220 - $290 USD). 3. The WeatherPine Inn is an economical bed & breakfast that is a 15-minute walk from the venue. Rates are around $230 CAD ($170 USD). 4. For those looking for a more traditional hotel experience, there is the Best Western Colonel Butler Inn, about a 20-minute walk from the venue. Room rates are around $280 CAD ($200 USD) per night.
