Will food and drinks be provided at the welcome party?

Answer

Yes, lite hors d'oeuvres, and beverages (alcoholic and soft drinks) will be provided!

What does black tie required mean?

Dress to the 9's! Dark tuxes strongly encouraged for men, long formal dresses for women. Dress discounts for women: The website ThredUp sells second hand dresses in great condition for a low price. If you have multiple other weddings/events to attend this summer you can also look into a Rent the Runway subscription. Tux discounts for men:

Yes, your invite will allow you to denote all dietary restrictions. Please note that all food options will be gluten free and prepared in a fully gluten free kitchen. There will be non gluten free beer of course!

When should I book a place to stay for the weekend?

Answer

As the wedding is taking place in Newport on 4th of July weekend, places will fill up fast and prices will increase as we get closer to the date of the event. We encourage all guests to book early.

Do you have room blocks or recommendations on where to stay

Answer

We have a limited number of room blocks at the Newport Marriott hotel, please refer to the 'Travel' tab for more details on our recommendations on where to stay.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, there will be transportation provided from the Newport Marriot to and from the ceremony/reception. There will also be transportation from the reception to the after party and the after party back to the Marriot. Stay tuned for specific timing of transportation.

Is there parking at Ochre Court?

Answer

Yes, there is free parking at the site of reception (which is walkable to the ceremony as well).

Answer

Of course there will be an after party, and all (21+) are welcome to attend.
