Most people know Adam and Erin as the Connecticut College track team couple who started dating freshman year. What most people don't know is that their origin story actually involves the help of a mutual connection: Erin’s cousin, Cara, who went to high school with Adam. Upon realizing that they both committed to run track for Conn College, she immediately decided to play matchmaker, planting the seeds for what she hoped would be a lasting relationship. When fall semester arrived, Adam and Erin finally met. The friendship was entirely effortless. By the spring semester, they made it official, surviving the rest of college side-by-side. Throughout college they cheered each other on at meets, laughed at the same stupid jokes, and went on date nights in Mystic and Newport. Upon graduation, Erin was admitted into the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Emory Medical School in Atlanta, while Adam took a job as a consultant for EY in Boston. For a solid year, their relationship was sponsored by Delta Air Lines. They survived on a glamorous diet of Sky Club buffet meals, late-night FaceTimes, and racking up plenty of Sky Miles. Eventually, Adam realized that frozen Boston winters couldn't compete with Southern charm (and Erin). So he worked to secure an EY transfer down to the Peach State. Moving to Atlanta opened up a whole new chapter. They quickly built an incredible circle of friends, spending countless nights at their favorite sports bar, The Grove, with David and Ashley. They also received a crash course in how to survive below the Mason-Dixon line. Thanks to Kiley, they were aggressively tutored in the religion of College Football and learned the hard way how to ride mechanical bulls at PBR. Before they knew it, they were wearing cowboy boots to nice dinners, using "y'all" in casual texts, and treating college football like a matter of life and death. Today, they are happily living together in Atlanta
