Amtrak to Poughkeepsie (POU)
Take the Amtrak train to Poughkeepsie (POU) if not renting a car or carpooling. Amtrak is available in Albany (from the airport) and Penn Station in NYC to Poughkeepsie. Purchasing tickets in advance is recommended! Once you've arrived at the train station in Poughkeepsie, it's a very short Uber/Lyft ride to the hotels. Metro North Railroad- Hudson Line
The Metro-North serves customers throughout New York and Connecticut- The Hudson Line takes you straight to Poughkeepsie from Grand Central Terminal in New York City. Travel time is 2 hours from Grand Central to Poughkeepsie station at 41 Main Street Poughkeepsie, NY 12601-2909 and trains generally leave 1x per hour. Poughkeepsie is the last stop on the Hudson line.
