Kingston is an old city- we're talking 1777- and much of the architecture in Kingston is known for having been constructed pre-Revolutionary War. The Uptown Stockade District is the place for historic sites, shopping, and a bite to eat (Sissy's Cafe, Boistons recommended). Drive slowly down Albany Avenue to see jaw-dropping Victorian style mansions from the early 1800s because this place is a fairytale.
