Please RSVP, either through the website or enclosed cards, by July 26, 2024.
Casual :)
The recommended times of arrival are between 2 and 2:30pm.
Yes! Kids are more than welcome at both the ceremony and the reception.
Our ceremony will be an unplugged ceremony, but we understand that people do want to take their own photos, so there will be an opportunity announced by our officiant, but otherwise, no phones or cameras.
There will be parking available for the ceremony at the lighthouse grounds on the road leading up to the old lighthouse. Unfortunately, there will not be any designated parking. For the reception, limited parking will be available in the driveway of the Lodge, and more availability will be found on the road in front of the property. Please feel free to park on either side of the road.
Cocktail hour starts at 5:00pm and dinner will start at 6:00pm.
We are registered through Zola. There is a link in the navigation tools of our website that should link directly to our registry. We also registered through Target! A link to that registry is located under the 'Registry' link above.
All of our recommendations regarding hotels will be found under the 'Travel' tab above. We also recommend checking out Airbnb and vrbo for other accommodations. :)
The Lodge has been part of Clara's family for a few generations. Her great-great-grandparents, Joseph and Agnes Modrzynski, settled on the farm, where they raised their son, Anthony. He then settled on the farm with his wife, Lucille, where they raised their daughter, Gertrude. Gertie and her husband, Harry, raised their kids (which included Clara's dad) just down the hill from the Lodge. The farm has seen both livestock and produce, and the reception will be taking place in one of the last remaining barns on the property. Keep an eye out for one of the lingering fruit trees on the property. :) Fun fact: Clara will be the 3rd family member to have their wedding on the property. Her cousins Ryan and his wife, Kendra, held their ceremony on the property in September of 2018, and Whitney and her husband, Brandon, hosted their wedding in August of 2019.
