Travel Requirements and Recommendations

Answer

IMPORTANT: You are required to complete an electronic customs/immigration form to enter Guatemala. It is now a requirement for this form to be completed electronically. We recommend you complete the form while you are in the US to ensure you have stable connectivity and Wi-Fi to fill out the form online since service and Wi-Fi connectivity can be spotty in the Guatemala City airport. We recommend you complete this form either the day before your departure or on the day of travel while you are waiting at your gate for the flight. Please use this link to complete your customs/immigration form: https://farm2.sat.gob.gt/declaDelViajeroGt-web/pages/public/declaracionViajero.jsf#no-backbutton. You will be emailed a confirmation and QR code once the form is submitted. You need to be able to show the QR code to the customs agent so be sure to save the email that is sent to you or take a screenshot of the QR code once the form is completed. DEPARTING GUATEMALA You will also need to complete a customs/immigration form to exit the country. Please plan to fill this out prior to your departure back to the U.S. Here is the link to the customs/immigration form: https://farm2.sat.gob.gt/declaDelViajeroGt-web/pages/public/declaracionViajero.jsf#no-backbutton
