The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire. Recommended suit and tie for men. Women are encouraged to wear knee-length or longer dresses, matching 2 pieces, or jumpsuits. Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outdoors on grass, so would suggest chunkier heels, wedges, or flats.
In early September, Asheville's weather typically features warm, pleasant temperatures. Expect highs in the upper 70s and lows in the 50s. The summer heat begins to fade.
The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be taking place at the same location: The Farm, a gathering place, in Candler, NC (about 20 minutes from downtown Asheville). Cocktail hour and reception will be covered/indoors.
After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the covered seating area before the reception, where we will be serving passed hors d'oeuvres and beverages during a cocktail hour.
The Mother of the Groom will be hosting a Welcome Party on Friday, September 5th, at Highland Brewing. More information can be found under the "Schedule" tab. Drinks and heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served. Please use the Sunday after at your leisure to enjoy Asheville and/or travel safely home.
The rehearsal dinner guest list is limited to those who will be playing a role in the ceremony. We look forward to seeing everyone at the Welcome Party on Friday night!
We will have shuttle service to and from Downtown Asheville and The Farm (wedding venue). Our shuttles will be picking up and dropping off from the two hotel block locations. If you are staying at a different hotel and would like to catch the shuttle, please make your way to one of the two block locations. If you would like to use Uber/ride share services, getting to the wedding venue would work. However, calling a car from the wedding venue back to the hotel may be difficult. We provided local ride share services in the "Travel" tab.
Help us get the party started as scheduled! We recommend that you arrive by 4pm on Saturday to ensure everyone is seated on time (4:30pm ceremony start).
Parking is available and free on property for both the Welcome Party (Highland Brewing) and the Wedding Ceremony and Reception (The Farm, a gathering place).
Yes, your children are welcome! We just kindly ask that you keep them quiet during the ceremony. We will have a children's dinner option if you would prefer that for your child, which can be selected under the RSVP tab.
Unfortunately, we have a restricted guest count, so our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.
We have two hotel blocks in Downtown Asheville: The Kimpton Arras and the Aloft. Addresses and links to reserve blocks are listed in the "Travel" tab. We recommend any hotels in downtown Asheville as it's a pedestrian-friendly area.
Thank you in advance for sending your RSVP before July 31st, 2025. We will have online-only RSVPs through our wedding website.
The wedding venue is wheelchair accessible. The ceremony will be on grass, which may be trickier terrain for those using wheelchairs, walkers, canes or other accessibility aids. The Welcome Party is wheelchair accessible via elevators.
We will have beverages and passed hors d'oeuvres during the cocktail hour. We will have a full sit-down meal served during the wedding reception.
We will have vegetarian options during cocktail hour and dinner served at the reception. When RSVPing and selecting meal choice, please note any medical dietary restrictions. We will plan and accommodate accordingly.
We are so thankful you will be joining us for this celebration. While gifts are not expected, we have our registry linked under the "Registry" tab.
Yes! We recommend visiting the "Things to Do" page of our wedding website, where we've compiled all of our favorite local spots and fun things to do in the area.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out directly to Cecilia or Adam.
