Katelyn (Kate) is a close friend of Bethany's-essentially since they were born! Growing up together in Hugo, MN the two would run over to each other's houses to play outside, rollerblade around the neighborhood, create backyard games with Kate's older brother, Brandon, along with a crew of other kids in the neighborhood. Since then, the two have traveled together, gone on hikes, countless trips downtown for concerts or exploring local coffee shops/cafes and relaxing with a night of baking and Nintendo Switch. Kate is like a sister that Bethany never had and have gone through several life events together.
Matt Sumners
Best Man
Matt and Adam became friends freshman year of high school in choir. The two have stayed close throughout the years and continue to make music together - Adam with the vocals and production and Matt on the keys. Outside of music, the two enjoy being outdoors on a summer day by the water with Matt's dog Cooper.
Hannah Brausen

Hannah and Bethany met through Adam! Hannah is Adam's sister, and instantly made Bethany feel welcomed and part of the family. It was on Adam and Bethany's second date that Bethany met Hannah while they all met up for tacos. Since then, Adam and Bethany have visited Hannah and her boyfriend Juan in New York to explore, thrift, check out the local food scene, and attend a comedy show. As an architectural photographer, Hannah took on the task of engagement pictures with ease - you will see her amazing work throughout this website! She is extremely talented, fun to be around, and has felt like a sister to Bethany since meeting Adam. Bethany can't wait to gain Hannah as a sister-in-law!
Lindsay Cowman
Bridesmaid
Lindsay and Bethany met at the University of South Dakota through classes and running on the USD track and cross country teams. The two originally bonded via cross training while they both recovered from running-related injuries. The two spent hours together aqua jogging in rivers and the USD pool before chemistry at 5:00am. Both ended up pursuing careers in physical therapy so had several pre-requisite classes together. On their busy days, they'd start lab together, attend class, workout with the team, and then back to lab while they ate dinner. Through all of this they grew closer and eventually lived in the same off campus building with their friend Erin which lead to many more memories on Spruce Street. To this day, Erin and Bethany have visited Lindsay as she lives out west currently and hope to live closer someday to continue the shenanigans!
Molly Dubois

Molly and Bethany have known each other since high school when Molly transferred to White Bear Lake. The two connected at an extracurricular school club during downtime and ever since have been meeting up to catch up over coffee and snacks, walk with Molly's dog, Franklin, and thrift wherever their intuition leads them. The two know how to pick up right where they leave off and have cherished their friendship since the days at White Bear Lake Area High School. Go Bears!
Veronica Rasmussen

Veronica (Vern) and Bethany met in PT school at Mayo Clinic. They gravitated toward each other during partner activities and quickly learned they shared similar interests, values and humor in and outside of the physical therapy world. Since graduating, they continue to share clinic stories, but find the most joy in walks with Vern's pup Meeko, exploring fun and exciting events happening in the city, grabbing a drink from a local coffee shop, and working on crafts. Vern has also gotten Bethany to try a variety of new and fun workout classes in the city to mix it up from the running. On one of their most recent adventures up North the two also tested their knowledge at naming local mushrooms - not tasting... that would be too adventurous. The two lead busy lives, but always find time to connect.
Erin Wetzstein

Erin and Bethany (aka Moonshine and Cosmic after gaining their trail names two summers ago) met on the University of South Dakota track and cross country team. They have endured several Tuesday workouts as well as Sunday long runs in blizzards together through their college years and continue to make sure that some form of thrill and adventure makes it into travels to this day. The two have traversed the Great Smoky Mountains and hiked a few peaks in Stanley, Idaho while out West visiting their close friend, Lindsay. If the step count wasn't over 30,000 was it a day? When they are not scaling mountains, camping in windstorms, and bounding along forest trails, the two enjoy meeting up at their favorite coffee shop, Westside Perk, and walking or running at a local park.

Angel and Adam met freshman year at Saint John's University. When Adam moved out to L.A. Angel helped him get settled there. Since both being back in MN, the two enjoy playing pick up basketball together whether its just the two of them or a whole team. Ball is life!
David Frankenfield

David and Adam first met in high school at Minnetonka, but reunited in Los Angeles where they had crazy adventures in Korea town. Despite David moving back to LA, the two continue to stay in touch and hang out whenever they can! You'll catch the two at a local comedy show, long boarding around town, or chilling by the lakes.
John Hamre

John and Adam met freshman year at Saint John's University through mutual friends. The two quickly bonded as part of the SJU crew and stayed in contact even when the two moved to opposite coasts (Adam in L.A. and John to Tampa, FL). Since John moved back to MN, the two have been busy making beats together, playing video games, and finding local adventures and hikes to go on.

Demetre and Adam met freshman year at Saint John's University. Since college, the two stayed close and Adam has since made a handful of trips to visit Demetre when he was living in Arizona and now Boston, MA to hike and explore. The two are ALWAYS talking sports and love some basketball.

Adam and Nick (Welshons) met freshman year at Saint John's University. When Adam would come back and visit from L.A. the two would bond over die hard fandom of the T-Wolves during the 16-66 Rubio days. Together, they continue to cheer on the T-Wolves day in and day out and celebrate the good times.

Ron is a family friend of the Brausen’s and lawyer by profession. With his expertise, kind and welcoming presence, and genuine care for all those he meets, it was an easy decision for Adam and Bethany to have Ron unite them in marriage. Ron has thoughtfully helped Adam and Bethany prepare for their wedding day and the two are forever grateful for his guidance!
