This little cafe inside a butterfly garden can be easy to miss, but it is worth the effort to find it. It's just a few minutes walk up the road past El Avion and can be accessed by going through Sukia Adventure Park. They have air-conditioned indoor seating with large windows either looking out into the jungle or their butterfly sanctuary; or you can sit at the bar inside the butterfly garden. Adam and I enjoyed sitting at the bar because if you order anything with fruit in it the butterflies will fly right up to you. They serve both breakfast and lunch. Adam and I visited twice and loved everything that we ordered. I really enjoyed the mini arepitas with my coffee.
The Manuel Antonio National Park is just one mile down the road from where we are staying. This national park is on the smaller side but is full of wildlife and has four gorgeous beaches. We recommend buying your tickets to the park well in advance since they only let in a small number of people each day. We also recommend coming in as soon as they open at 7 am. This is when the wildlife is most active before the crowds get too bad. The park also provides lots of fun tours that can be found on its website below.
