Adam and I met in high school. Adam was the new kid who had just moved to my neighborhood. We ended up having our first two classes together and quickly became friends. Before we knew it, our friendship turned into something more, we became best friends. During our senior year, we took a leap and started dating — and we’ve been in love ever since. When college came, we faced the challenge of long distance for three long years while he studied in Las Vegas and I stayed home. Then, he jumped in the transfer portal and ended back in the city at UNM — and we were finally together again. This day marks nine years of being with my best friend, and not a day goes by that I’m not thankful for the love we share. We’ve grown up together, supported each other, and built something so special — now, we’re beyond excited to begin this next chapter and share it with all of you.
