What covid precautions are in place?

Answer

We are asking everybody to take a rapid test the day of the event just before attending. We will have a few tests at the door for those who forget. All those who are eligible must be vaccinated. The Crystal Ballroom is a newly renovated space that has MERV 10 air filters, and an HVAC system that introduces outside air to the space. We will also be keeping windows open. The capacity of the space is 500 people and we are expecting about 100 guests. Masks are welcome for all those who choose to wear them!

Will you feed us?

Answer

Yes! We will provide buffet dinner, with inclusive options for guests who are vegan, vegetarian, gluten and dairy free. Please let us know if you have a dietary restriction that is not mentioned on this list.

What should I wear?

Answer

Wear a celebratory outfit that makes you feel festive and comfortable! This isn’t a formal event, and there's no particular look we have in mind. You can look sharp in a gown or suit, or bedazzle us with a pair of sparkly jorts! Your highest heels? Go for it! Your favorite caftan? More than welcome! The air conditioning will be on, but dancing can still be a hot endeavor, so please keep in mind the temperature when picking out your party duds.

How do I get there and where do I park?

Answer

The Crystal Ballroom is about 50ft from the exit of the Davis Square Red Line T stop in Somerville. Parking is a constant drag around here, so we highly recommend taking public transit. If you do drive, there is municipal parking. If you know that you will be driving and need parking, please let us know no later than July 1.
