So this one time at McSorley's...

Two people walked into a bar.

Fate? Destiny? Chance encounter? We honestly don't know. But when Amy agreed to meet a group of friends after work, and Jonathan agreed to one more round after his birthday dinner, they had no idea what the night had in store. The location was at one of the oldest bars in all of Manhattan, and the setting was on a warm Thursday June night. Strangers for only a moment, Amy sat down at a communal bar table where Jonathan was sitting with his brother Patrick, and (2nd) sister Keiko. After some quick seat rearrangements, Amy and Jonathan sat side-by-side at that dusty bar table and began their life-changing conversation. One very long night, countless dates, and many years later, Jonathan asked Amy to marry him. After dining at the same restaurant from their first date, a series of poems directed Amy back to their apartment where the wanna-be poet dropped to a knee. Now, these two are on cloud-nine as they celebrate their relationship lowcountry style in Savannah, Georgia, where Amy went to school and Jonathan drank too many beers.
