Matron of Honor
I am Ellen's cousin and growing up in a tightly knit family, we have spent a great deal of time together celebrating holidays, enjoying summers at the family beach house on Vashon, and bonding over becoming elementary teachers. In 2018, Ellen was hired at the same elementary school where I was a kindergarten teacher. In 2020, Ellen and Conor bought a house only 15 minutes away from where Kenny and I live. My relationship with Ellen has grown especially close over the last few years as we continue to navigate adulthood together, supporting each other in the challenges of teaching, puppy parenting, and home ownership. I am excited to be a part of this next step in Ellen's life.
Best Man
Conor and I grew up together in Petaluma and went to the same schools. We quickly became best friends sophomore year of high school and spent many weekends and summer days together adventuring around town, watching movies, and playing games. In the last decade we've both moved to different corners of the country, but our friendship has overcome the distance!
Bridesmaid
Luckily, I married into the best family ever! My husband, Jake Luwe introduced me to his cousin Ellen, and we quickly became close friends. Her kind spirit, great sense of humor, and willingness to meet me at Tony’s Sports Bar for a Jell-O shot or two are just a few of my favorite things about the Bride. Looking forward to the many years of celebrating life milestones with the happy couple!
Groomsman
As you know, I'm Ellen's brother of 27 years. One thing about Conor is that he will try anything once! It has been fun to introduce him to golf and fishing. His role in the family as Fantasy Football League Commissioner does provide friendly competition during football season. I was honored when Conor asked me to be in the wedding - I'm excited to have a new brother-in-law.
Flower Girls
We are excited to have Evelyn and Norah be a part of our big day. They are the adorable daughters of Gretchen and Billy, Ellen's cousin.
Groomsman
Conor’s my guy! I was hesitant when Ellen (my cousin) mentioned she was seeing someone new. But, after meeting him and learning about his passion for In-N-Out Burger and later seeing his green argyle golf pants, I knew he was going to fit right into this family. Throughout the years we have grown to be great friends with weekend adventures, Friday bar crawls, and late night gaming sessions. I was honored to marry Conor into the family last July and I’m looking forward to standing next to him as a groomsman.
