FAQs

Question

When and how do I RSVP?

Answer

Formal invitations will be sent out in 2026. At that point, we will have our RSVP open through this website. Please RSVP by July 18, 2026. We will continue to add more information as we get closer to the date, but hope that this is a good start for setting up your travel plans.

Question

How should I get around on the wedding day?

Answer

We are pleased to provide all wedding day transportation. This includes both to the ceremony, as well as to and from the reception. Ceremony Transportation: A shuttle bus will leave from a central location in the town of Monopoli at 3:15 P.M. The exact location will be communicated closer to the date. Post-Reception Transportation: Shuttle busses will be available following the reception. Please provide us with your hotel address upon RSVP so that we can organize drop-off locations. We will aim to drop you off as close to your accommodation as possible.

Question

Are we able to stay at the wedding venue?

Answer

The wedding venue has limited rooms, which have already been reserved for family members and the bridal party. The surrounding region has plenty of beautiful accommodations, including many masserias, like our wedding venue.

Question

Is there a dress code for the wedding day?

Answer

We don't have a strict dress code in place but summer cocktail is encouraged. For Italy in August, we suggest midi or longer dresses, collared shirts, and pants, in light and breathable fabrics. For ladies wondering about shoes, you won't have to walk on grass, but there will be lots of cobblestone.

Question

Will the wedding reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding reception will take place in a covered outdoor space and we also have an indoor backup plan available.

Question

How far in advance should I arrive and what is there to do?

Answer

We recommend arriving at least a few days in advance (but the more the better!) to get accustomed to the time zone and take advantage of the beautiful area. We will be in the Puglia region in the week leading up to the wedding. If you have time to explore, Italy is a vast country with many landscapes, architectures and cuisines unique to each region. Check out our Guide to Italy page for recommendations, many of which we have experienced (and loved) first hand. Please note, that August 15 is a public holiday in Italy (Ferragosto), so most major services are likely to be closed on this date.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

For those of you who may want to drive to our events, there is parking available at Masseria Torrepietra.

Question

What is the welcome dinner?

Answer

We greatly appreciate everyone travelling to be with us on our special day and invite all guests to join us the night before the wedding to kick-off the celebrations. Please RSVP on our wedding website.
