We did meet at Summit High School but the feelings were more indifference than romance. About eight years later Stacey and Cody went skiing up at Mt. Bachelor with their mutual friend Austin Jones. Immediately when Stacey showed up, Austin said he had to go get a beer. We confirmed recently with Austin that he knew EXACTLY what he was doing, and it worked some sort of magic. For the rest of the day skiing, Cody and Stacey caught up like old friends. A week or two later Cody asked Stacey over to his house to watch The Bachelor and eat chocolate chip cookies...a date he knew Stacey could never refuse. They ended up going out to dinner at Barrio instead and the rest is history. Cody to this day has never watched an episode of The Bachelor and Stacey is still waiting for those cookies.
