Please RSVP by May 17th, 2026 after you have received your official invitations by mail. You can officially RSVP via the RSVP tab here on our website. With that being said, if you know FOR SURE you cannot make it to the wedding feel free to contact us! You will be greatly missed, but due to the nature of our destination wedding we have a waitlist of guests that we would also like to invite.
Yes! We are still working out exact details, but there will be transportation provided from the city of Tivoli on Thursday July 16, the day of the Welcome Event. Returning from the venue to Tivoli Saturday July 18, the morning after the wedding.
If granted a Plus One it will be indicated on your future wedding invitation. Please let us know if you would like to request a plus one and we will do our best to accommodate as we finalize our numbers before sending out invitations. Because of the limited number of guests we may not be able to guarantee your Plus One. Note, if you have already been invited as a couple by name on the Save the Date there is no need to request a Plus One.
Yes! We love children; the more the merrier! If your invitation has been addressed to your family, i.e. "The Buckley Family" then all members of your party have already been accounted for. If you have been invited by first and last name(s) and wish to bring children please reach out and we will let you know if they can be accommodated.
We have a limited number of on-site rooms at the venue, Castello Brancaccio, as well as Airbnbs within walking distance that you can book. We will reserve your room on your behalf and send further information once your Accommodations Survey has been filled out under the RSVP tab. You may also feel free to book your own Airbnb or hotel if you'd like. We recommend the nearby cities of Tivoli and Rome.
Our official dress code is Black Tie/Formal. However, we are sympathetic to the fact that it will be very hot in central Italy in July. We ask that you dress nicely, but please be comfortable! We ask that guests avoid white as it will be reserved only for the bride. The Wedding Party will be wearing shades of orange and pink.
PASSPORTS: Make sure all members of your party, including children and infants, have a valid passport that does not expire before January 31, 2027. VISAS: Keep up to date on visa requirements, especially if you plan to visit multiple countries outside of Italy. FLIGHTS: Keep an eye on international flights. Though the Rome airport is the closest, it may be less expensive to book a flight to another European or U.K. city and take a second flight or train to Rome. Considering layovers, time changes, and flight duration it is possible for travel to take more than a day. TIME CHANGE: Account for the time change. Give yourself time to acclimate to the time difference. It can sometimes take a day or two before the jet lag wears off. For this reason we do NOT recommend flying in the day of or night before the Welcome Event. ADAPTORS: Make sure you have an E.U. accessible wall plug adaptor as anything you bring with a standard U.S. outlet will NOT be compatible in the E.U. CURRENCY: Italy uses the Euro and does not accept U.S. cash. If planning to use cash be sure to take out currency before travel to avoid high currency exchange rates. Credit cards are widely accepted, but check with your bank. Some cards may have excessive international fees. Check with your bank as depending on their fees and rates it may end up less expensive to use a European ATM. Also, be sure to notify your banking and credit card institutions of your travel plans so your cards are not blocked for fraud.
