It's about Dang Time!

Like all traditional love stories, Kristen and Jason's story began with the right swipe in the ever so elegant and most successful love matching app known to man: Tinder. From a tinder to a spark, their journey was set a blaze over a couple drinks of boba. Funnily enough, Kristen was late to their first meeting, but who knew that late was better than never. In those six hours, the world slipped away as they shared their love and passions for life before realizing they were the last ones to be ushered out of that little boba shop. They parted ways with hopes in their hearts, a hug that was too long for Jason's liking (20 seconds!), and a beginning to their story.

Together, hand in hand, they ventured through years of laughter, happy times, not so happy times, shared first experiences, journeyed across the land, tackled hardships, and enjoyed plentiful meals in each others presence. Life wasn't easy at times, but together they felt invincible; as they should. What more could they ask for? Until Jason had a plan and Kristen was none the wiser.

For those who don't know Jason, he is not one to skim on minor details and loves to live life with a bang! His proposal was no different. Unbeknownst to Kristen, Jason secretly enlisted the help of Kristen's friends and family (Shout out to Jackie!) and hid the proposal in a previously planned trip to LA where they revisited the Urban Light art piece at the LACMA to innocently take a couple of pictures. As a side note, Jason has a history of fake proposing during the entirety of their relationship since day one (the first time was next to a dumpster in a back alley of a karaoke bar.) With that in mind, this place was not spared. He also "proposed" to Kristen at the LACMA in the past. So with great gusto, Jason took a knee with promises of a life full of happiness and laughter. Meanwhile, Kristen was immediately mortified at his impulse to "fake propose" in front of her family and did not realize this was the real deal. Thus, with a swift flick of the wrist, Kristen's palm smacking Jason's face, her realization, his confusion, and the continuous "Seriously? Are you serious?" was their love finally realized. (I guess you can say things are getting pretty serious.)
