Best Man
Keaton and I met in high school, and our friendship began to take its roots during golf season. Keaton and I have developed a friendship that will last a lifetime, one of which I'm eternally grateful for. After graduating, Keaton and I have remained close friends, and he is one of the few people that can bring me out of my shell.
Maid of Honor
Maddie and I met when we were in high school. We played four years of basketball together, and then both decided to continue our education and athletic careers at Taylor University. At college we were neighbors for three years, and suite-mates for the last year!
Best Man
David and I first met at elementary school basketball camp, but we didn’t become great friends until high school. David and I primarily bonded over playing video-games, which led to one of the richest friendships I have had thus far. He is one of the most genuine guys I know, and he also cares deeply for me. Despite the endless puns and bad jokes, we will remain friends our entire lives.
Bridesmaid
I met Julia while attending a Lutheran retreat the summer before moving to college. Four years of volleyball created a friendship that has been rooted in latte making, Nebraska loving, and our Lutheran faith. As one of the most empowering and influential women I know -- I can only imagine what kinds of things Jules will do in her life!
Groomsman
Nate and I met at Taylor University, I had the privilege of being on the golf team with him all four years of college. We started to become close friends our sophomore year, which mostly consisted of me coming to Nate and Scottie's room in Wengatz Hall. Over the last four years, Nate has been someone I can talk to about anything whether serious or care-free.
Bridesmaid
I first met Kristin when she moved in with Maddie and Sydney sophomore year of college. In our last year of college we were roommates. We often bonded over cleaning the apartment, painting our nails, and pillow-talk every single night. Kristin is one of the kindest and most sincere friends I have ever had!
Groomsman
Scottie and I first met at Taylor University. We were on the Men's golf team for three years together. Our friendship really began to dig deep our sophomore year at Taylor. Scottie is and will be someone I can come to for wise counsel.
Bridesmaid
I met Sam during our move in day freshman year of college. We may have started our freshman year as teammates, but we ended senior year being life-long friends. From traveling around the country (and world at times) for volleyball, to sleepovers in the dorms, Sam will always be there!
Groomsman
Tommy and I have been close friends ever since grade school. Early on in our friendship we played basketball as well as golf. One of my favorite memories with Tommy is playing in Junior Golf events both with and against him. Since graduating high school, Tommy and I still enjoy playing golf with one another, and enjoy each others company.
Bridesmaid
I spent a lot of time with Sydney freshman year, whether she liked it or not. She lived with Maddie for three years -- and now we are suite-mates for our final year of college. Our love for basketball, fun earrings, and our fiancee's has created a friendship that will last forever!
Groomsman
Christian is my oldest friend. We first met when my family and I moved to Iowa when I was three years old. Our relationship took a turn when he told me Santa wasn't real when I was five, however I forgave him later that afternoon. Christian has been someone who I can always have fun with, no matter what situation we are in. Whenever I go home from college, I always look forward to seeing him and his family.
Bridesmaid
I met Antonia when Noah first brought me to his house three years ago. After traveling with the Miller family over the years, I can see how much love she has for her big brother. I have always wanted a sister, and thanks to Noah, now I finally can say that I do!
Groomsman
Keegan and I met at Taylor University my Sophomore year. I have enjoyed three years of golf with him, most of which I spent in the opposite fairway. We became great friends my Junior year, when I moved onto the same floor as him. Keegan has consistently been someone who has spoken wisdom into my life.
Bridesmaid
From diapers to wedding dresses Kensi and I just had to be on the same timeline through life. Although she was born just six weeks before me, it felt like we were meant to be twins. Kensi will always be a life-long best friend, as well as a cousin that will feel more like a sister!
Groomsman
Ryan, like his brother, is also my oldest friend. Early on our relationship consisted of us going to Des Moines Golf to enjoy the pool and the golf course. Ryan is the person I am most competitive with when it comes to golf, our drive to beat each other is unlike any of my other friends.
Junior Bridesmaid
When Rylie was young I often joked that she was a "mini-me." Fast forward into the future and I would say that statement would still be considered true by our family. We might be eight years apart, but our passion for volleyball has connected us to a whole new level!
Groomsman
I first met Tyler three and a half years ago when I went to Abby's house for the first time. At the time I was nervous that both he and his parents would like me. I quickly realized that I was the new favorite child. Over the last three years, I've seen Tyler grow as a young man, most of which consisted of me watching him play basketball.
Junior Bridesmaid
She might be the baby of our family, but she definitely has one of the biggest personalities I have ever encountered. Her ambition for life and deep love for family are two qualities that have developed significantly over time, and I cannot wait to see all the things she will accomplish in the future!
