Welcome to our love story

Abigail and Tyler first met during a school event in the fall semester of their freshman year in 2019. Their interaction was brief, and they went their separate ways—unaware that this wouldn’t be the end of their story. When their paths crossed again the following semester, they quickly became close friends. They spent their days getting food, walking to class, and doing homework together, and before long, they were inseparable. Everyone knew them as a pair—if one was there, the other was never far behind. On March 6, 2020, Tyler asked Abigail to make things official. Just two weeks later, the world changed, and they were both sent home due to the newly discovered pandemic. Despite the distance, they stayed connected through countless texts, calls, and FaceTimes. After four years of school, long distance, and growing together, they graduated in 2023. Following graduation, they spent a few years figuring out life—traveling back and forth between Rochester and Cicero, building their future one step at a time. Then, on February 15, 2025, Tyler convinced Abigail to drive back to campus to “take pictures.” She thought he was crazy for wanting to travel all the way to Utica in the middle of a blistering snowstorm—but he insisted. Neither of them expected the four-foot snowbanks covering most of campus. Tyler brought Abigail to the crime building, a place where they had spent so much of their time together for classes. It turned out to be one of the only clear spots, thanks to the covered sidewalk out front. And that’s when Tyler got down on one knee. As they begin writing the next chapter of their love story, Abigail and Tyler are so excited to celebrate one of the most important days of their lives with all the people they love and admire.
