Katherine Morsberger

Maid of Honor

My Maid of Honor, Katherine, is my younger sister, my best friend, and some days my twin. Kath and I weren't so close growing up, more like sworn enemies. She threw hands, and I was a typical tattle-tale older sister. Thankfully by high school, when we started playing sports together and she needed me to drive her home, we got over our sibling rivalry. Katherine lights up any room she walks into with her jokes and her laugh, she's the best at giving advice, she's my personal stylist, and she'll never say no to dessert or a fun time. Kath, I'm sure you're probably excited to finally have our room to yourself, but I'm really going to miss our random dance parties, fashion shows, and tea sessions (with a side of ice cream). Kath is one of the most loyal, thoughtful, and caring people you'll ever meet. Mike has accepted the fact that, when he's with Kath and I, he's the third wheel. I've been so blessed with an incredible built-in bestie. Love you Kath!

Molly Morsberger

Maid of Honor

My junior Maid of Honor, Molly, is my youngest but now taller sister (she's been waiting on that one for a few years). Molly is a mini-me in almost every aspect. Molly's sassy, but she has a heart of gold. She may come off as quiet and shy, but just you wait, she's a firecracker. Molly is the queen of TikTok, and no one else would ever get me to do one of those terrible dances. No matter how old she gets she'll still keep making me pay for all of her food and shopping trips. Being that she's 10 years younger than me she's always been my baby sister, and that won't ever change. Molly keeps me young and up to date with all of the latest trends. Molly works hard at everything she does and always strives for perfection. She keeps me laughing and inspires me to be better. Molly, I'll miss being there to always braid your hair when you need it; just give me a call, and I'll walk you through it. Molly, I'm so proud of you and love you lots!

Mayte McAnany

Bridesmaid

Mayte is one of the first people I met at Kings Point during my plebe year, and we've been the best of friends ever since. I was blessed to be a part of Mayte's wedding in Mexico last year, and I am overjoyed that she's now able to be in Mike and my wedding. Mayte and I got to lead women's bible study together, we were study buddies during the brutal season of license prep, we drank way too much caffeine at times, and we have shared lots of laughs and tears. I remember plebe year we would meet up on zero deck in the bathrooms just so we could yap without getting yelled at. Mayte, it's a miracle we made it out of KP together, but praise God we did! She makes me laugh without even trying; Mayte is my go-to girl whenever I need advice, prayer, dancing lessons, a good laugh, or an honest opinion. I am so excited that Mike and I will be moving closer to Mayte and Micah in Florida!! Love you so much Maytecita!

Alyssa Passanisi-Walker

Bridesmaid

Alyssa is Michael's oldest sister. I was so nervous to meet Alyssa for the first time because I knew her approval meant a lot. Alyssa cares so much for Mike and is definitely a loving and protective older sister. I'm glad I got the stamp of approval, and I'm thankful that she welcomed me with open arms into their family. She is also an amazing wife to Jack and mother to Sienna and Julianna. Alyssa, I'm so excited to officially become "Aunt Abby" and have the older sister I never had. Thank you for being a part of our big day!

Brooke Passanisi

Bridesmaid

Brooke is Michael's younger sister. I haven't gotten the chance to spend too much time with Brooke yet, but I'm excited to have another sister and to grow closer. Brooke keeps more to herself, as do I usually, so I can see our introverted selves bonding well over binge watching Netflix. She is another sassy Passanisi sister that will tell you like it is. Brooke is also determined and smart; she is in her second year of nursing school and will make a great nurse in a few years! Brooke, I'm so excited to be your sister and am so thankful that you are able to be a part of our wedding!

Jenna Passanisi

Bridesmaid

Jenna is Michael's youngest sister. She was the first sibling of Mike's that I got to meet. When I first met her, she came off as shy but after getting to know her more I have found that is far from true. She's brutally honest at times, and she'll always tell you how it is. She'll make you laugh until your belly hurts. She and I are probably Mike's biggest antagonizers, but he takes it like a champ. Jenna, I'm sure I'll become the brunt of some of your jokes now, but I can't wait to have you as another little sister. Thank you for being a part of our wedding!

Bailey Hamm

Bridesmaid

Bailey has been a close friend of mine for years. Our families met at church back in Maryland and Bailey, Kath, and I have been an inseparable trio ever since. Bailey has the kindest heart; she'll do anything for a friend. She's one of those people that helps you to recognize the little joys in life. Her faith is strong, and she pushes and inspires me to grow in this area. We've gone through countless pans of brownies together and shared lots of amazing memories over the years. We have more inside jokes than I can keep track of. She's the best hype-girl, and she'll outdance you any night at The Bull. Bailey, I'm so thankful for your friendship, and I so admire your outlook on life! I can't wait to have you by my side on January 10th, love you!

Jenna Turrentine

Bridesmaid

Jenna, JP, Jeeps, Paul, and soon-to-be Jenna Pearce is one of my best friends from King's Point. Jenna and I met through the Christian Fellowship Club our plebe year and we played lacrosse together, but sadly we didn't become closer friends until our 2nd class year. Everyone needs a Jenna Paul in their life. Jenna gives her all at everything she does, which is frustrating, because she doesn't even need to; she's one of those people who's just good at everything she does. Jenna's helped me grow in my faith so much, and she is such a light in any and every setting. One thing about Jenna that I love (and hate) is the "Turrentine Press;" if Jenna sets her mind to anything, you'll be joining her whether you want to or not. It always ends up being a blast, and many memories were made by going along on spontaneous adventures with Jeeps. Thank you for pushing me outside of my comfort zone in so many ways, for keeping KP fun, and for giving the best hugs. Love you Jenna!

Jessica Gamsjager

Bridesmaid

Jess is one of my best friends from King's Point, and she was also the best roommate ever! We knew each other from the Christian Fellowship Club and lacrosse, but our friendship grew so much when we agreed to be roommates our 2nd class year. Jess has helped me grow in so many areas of my life, and I will be eternally grateful for that. Her friendship is one that I will cherish forever. Jess grew my love for coffee by whipping up a fresh pot every morning; even when we were no longer roommates, there was always a mug waiting for me! Jess is a lover of deep convos, and she has taught me how to be more vulnerable. I miss our morning bagel runs, our brisk walks to soccer practice (because we were probably running late), our bunk talks, and most of all the way she pointed me closer to Jesus every single day. Jess is wise beyond her years and gives the best advice. Jess, thank you for being my best friend and for standing by my side on our wedding day!

Phoebe Cho

Bridesmaid

Phoebe is another one of my best friends from Kings Point. Phoebe coined the term "Seasters" during one of our lacrosse spring break trips. The Seasters includes Jess, Jenna, Phoebe, Mayte, and I. We all helped each other through KP in so many ways, but most importantly through our shared faith. I wouldn't have made it through that place without them. Phoebe is the spunky, goofy, full-of-energy, and life-of-the-party friend. She brings laughter and energy to any room she's in. Phoebe is so hard-working, and she's always looking for new opportunities. She's a go-getter and encourages everyone around her to push to become the best version of themselves. Phoebe recently moved down to Florida, and she is also getting married soon. It has been fun keeping in touch with her while being in such a similar stage of life. Pheebs, I love you, and I'm so thankful for your friendship!

Robert Passanisi

Best Man

The Best Man - Robert is my older, but not bigger, brother. Growing up together was quite the experience, Rob and I are total opposites. I liked to build things, work on engines, and get dirty. Robert liked his hair to be perfect, hated dirt, and didn't leave the house ever. This is evident by my tan and his ghost-white complexion. However, we formed an inseparable bond that only brothers can have. There was never a dull moment when two boys, 16-months apart got to grow up together, from fighting over who got to play on the PS3 to shooting each other with paintball and bb guns....well me shooting him because he's a horrible shot. I'm honored to have my older brother as my best man and can't wait to see how life plays out for the both of us.

Jack Walker

Groomsman

Jack officially became family when he married my sister, however, he's been part of the family long before that. He's the only person I know that can out-eat me at dinner and took the role of the family garbage disposal. I was a little hesitant at first since he was dating my sister, but I eventually came around and I'm glad I did. I couldn't have asked for a better brother-in-law, husband to Alyssa, and father to Sienna and Julianna.

Matthew Flood

Groomsman

My cousin Matt - the beekeeper who put the angry Italian honeybees in my backyard. Those little guys sting me every time I cut the grass. Matt and I spent countless summers fishing on the boat, nights playing manhunt, and hanging out at the club. I’m sure I spent most of those times annoying him as he’s 5 years older than me. We took on Papa’s tradition of being the ones to light off the fireworks on the 4th of July; a day we both enjoy tremendously.

Leo Morsberger

Groomsman

Leo is Abby’s little brother. You can always catch him eating food or fishing; both hobbies I enjoy. Watching him grow these past few years has been a true pleasure, and I’m excited to be an older brother figure in his life. He is going to make a fine young man, and I’m excited to have him as a brother-in-law.

Will Coveney

Groomsman

Will entered the craziness of our family by marrying Christine, my cousin. Will and I have very similar hobbies, a knack for fixing things, and both hate paying people to do stuff we can do ourselves. With that said, Will and I spent countless time on the jet skis, waterskiing, buying cheap broken quads and fixing them, and remodeling Christine's bathroom. Will is a graduate of SUNY Maritime (Kings Point's rivals) but I won't hold that against him.

Jack McCarthy

Groomsman

Where do I begin with Jack? Jack was a classmate of mine while at the Academy; we spent 300+ sea days together spanning across 5 different ships. It's amazing how one of us didn't end up killing the other. Some may say that I dragged him across the stage at graduation, but that is further from the truth.....well maybe. Jack and I have been through it all since Day Zero at Kings Point, getting screamed at and punished for the lack of military bearing in the midst of "important" training.

Josh Beavis

Groomsman

Josh and I met at the Academy's waterfront, a place that shaped my Kings Point experience. Josh is currently a senior at the Academy and has helped me tremendously with anything that I ever needed. Most notably, he spent countless hours with me trying to make engagement items on the "Cricut" machine when I was stressing about planning a perfect engagement. Oh boy, who would have thought it would take two engineers 3-days to figure that out. Josh has been a tremendous friend, and I can't wait to see what he does after his graduation.

Andrew Starling

Groomsman

Andy is an amazing friend, mentor, and great person all around. If you ever want to have fun, just ask Andrew! He was a senior during my freshman year at Kings Point; he took me under his wing, helped me escape trouble, and made my plebe-year experience unforgettable. This past winter, I get a text asking if I wanted to go snowboarding in Colorado and of course I said yes. Little did I know that we were going to pack in a car with 4 dudes and a dog, travel 1,700 miles, 26 hours, and across 9 states. There is never a dull moment with Andy, and I am forever grateful for our friendship.

Alex Sabri

Groomsman

Alex and I were classmates at the Academy and spent every waken hour together during our senior. We carried each other through some of, what seemed like, the hardest classes. From 3am cram-study sessions in the basement of the library the morning of the test, to sitting in my room studying for months for our Coast Guard License exams. Alex has been a trusted confidant, peer-mentor, and great friend.
