Even though our offices sat just across the street from one another in downtown Denver, it took Hinge to play matchmaker and bring us together. Our first date was at Holidaily Brewing (a gluten-free brewery!) in Golden, CO—on a Wednesday… which Lee found a little questionable at first. Still, the date went great, and Lee quickly raised the bar with our second date at a rooftop restaurant overlooking downtown Denver. Our third date, though, will always be a favorite. We met at Hunter Bay Coffee Shop, where we grabbed coffee and Abigail taught Lee how to play cribbage. By then, Abigail was pretty nervous—she already knew he was a keeper—and promptly spilled a trail of coffee across the entire restaurant while walking from the counter to the table. Lee, ever the gentleman, helped clean it up and even let her win at cribbage afterward. Since then, we enjoy spending time with our families whenever and wherever that takes us. We love to play pickleball, explore in the mountains, and play a lot of games. Two years later, we are so excited to be engaged and planning our forever together.
