FAQs

We realized that some of you might have some questions we can answer off the bat. Let us know if these spark more questions or if you have any others!
Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Brevard is an awesome family destination and we highly encourage everyone to bring their families and enjoy the many family activities the town offers. When it comes to the weekend's festivities, we want you to do whatever works best for you and your family, whether that means bringing your kids to all or some of the events. For those who want to bring their kids to Brevard but would prefer that they stay back for the big events, our amazing wedding planner is putting together a list of vaccinated, vetted local babysitters we can connect you with, so you can spend the wedding and reception relaxing and hanging with friends. If you might need a babysitter, just let us know as soon as possible and we'll connect you with some great, safe options!

Question

What will the food situation be like?

Answer

We're planning to have options for every dietary restriction and preference we can think of, but it would definitely be helpful to know what yours are! Please let us know when you RSVP--there's a question on the form. We'll also have mocktails and other non-alcoholic options available at every event!

Question

Where do we stand on vaxxing and masking?

Answer

Vaccines remain the strongest tool at our disposal in preventing coronavirus cases. To that end, we are asking everyone who plans on attending our wedding to please get vaccinated if you can and aren’t already. We’d hoped to avoid making this request but at this point, it’s the only way we feel that we can go about this safely. Our vendors are also on board with this plan, and the band, the shuttle drivers, and all of the event staff are vaccinated and will be in masks on the big day. Our wedding is almost entirely outdoors, including welcome drinks and the brewery the day after, and we’ll make sure to spread tables and lounge areas far apart on the day of the ceremony if needed. We’re in touch with the staff at Brevard Lumberyard and are making appropriate adjustments to ensure the venue’s protocols are in line with CDC recommendations.
