They met as coworkers in the Ski Sundown Rentals Department. Abby was a senior in high school working there for the first time and Justin was a repair tech working there for his fourth season. He led Abby's orientation group and little did she know she had just met her future husband! A year went by and they had very little interaction. The following season Abby was now a freshman in college at CCSU, where Justin also attended. They got to talking often and learned how much they enjoyed each other's company. After an awkward few weeks and some help from some coworkers, Justin asked for Abby's phone number. The rest was history!

Justin suggested a date night to celebrate Abby's completion of her first year of teaching. Before, they spent the day together doing some of their favorite activities. They went for a walk and attempted to go play mini golf. Abby was suspicious when Justin told her to dress up for dinner. They went to dinner at their favorite restaurant, Market Place Kitchen and Bar in Avon, CT. After dinner, Justin suggested ice cream, however he said he was too full right after dinner and suggested a drive first. He then drove to Stratton Brook Park in Simsbury, CT. Abby then began to really suspect something when she saw Justin's friend, Tim also there with his camera. Justin popped the question underneath the covered bridge at the park. She said yes!
