Holiday Acres Resort on Lake Thompson

Please call the resort directly to book in our block - 715.369.1500. The rooms in our block will not show up if you try to book online. Mention the Thompson/Jano Wedding and the date - June 14, 2025. There are lodge rooms and 1-4 bedroom cottages available on site. Please consider making your reservation as soon as possible. All official wedding events are on site at Holiday Acres, so we highly recommend staying here.

Rhinelander–Oneida County Airport

RHI is the closest airport to the venue. It is only a 15 minute drive to the resort. You can fly into RHI on Delta via Minneapolis and United via Chicago.

CWA is the next closest airport and is about an hour and 15 minute drive to the resort.

Appleton International Airport

ATW is 2.5 hours away from the venue. However, for those from central FL who don't mind a bit of driving, Allegiant has convenient nonstop flights from St. Pete/Clearwater and Sanford.

Ground Transportation

Ubers and Lyfts can be hard to come by in the Northwoods. Please consider scheduling a taxi in advance if you are not renting a car. We have used Hodag Cab Company in the past, but there are several options listed on the site below. Renting a car would be ideal if you plan to explore the area! Please also consider booking your rental car far in advance to guarantee availability, especially if flying into Rhinelander.
