The Flying Frenchman Catamaran
The Flying Frenchman is the Westin's luxury catamaran located at the hotels dock. They have many options for tours and activities during the day and at night and it's a great and easy way to experience the nearby islands. They have snorkel sails, day sails to St. John and Jost Van Dyke, open bar sunset sails, will take you to lime out, and dinner sails.
Lime Out VI
Lime Out is a floating taco restaurant accessible by boat only. There are many easy ways to get there and can be found via their website. Sit in the water, get some sun and enjoy tacos and cocktails!
Trunk Bay
St. John has AMAZING beaches and is just a 15 minute ferry away! Take the Red Hook Ferry to St. John and hop on an air taxi to go to Trunk Bay and/or Cinnamon Bay. Both are amazing plays to snorkel, spend the day in the sun, and see sea turtles. It is a must if you are spending more than a few days on the island. We recommend having breakfast at Cruz Bay Landing right where you hop off the ferry before you get a taxi to the beaches. This is Ross and I's favorite beach.
The VI Cat
The VI Cat offers amazing catamaran sunset and dinner sails and docks right next to The Westin! We recommend booking online before you go. Ask the lobby when the hotel shuttle leaves to go to the Frenchman's Cove. You can hop on it to take you to the dock and hop right on. Ross can attest - the open bar is truly bottomless!
Night Kayak St Thomas
Our hotel offers an incredible night kayak experience. Upon arrival they deck you out in glow paint. You'll take a clear-bottom kayak into the ocean via a guided tour that will allow you to search for marine life like sting rays and tarpons. This is a super cool tour and just steps away from the hotel.
Coki Point Beach
Take a taxi to Coki Point Beach on the North East side of the island! Coki Beach is Ross and I's favorite place to Snorkel. It is one of the smaller and more popular beaches that locals love. Coki Beach has the most beautiful reefs, snorkel rentals, and jet ski rentals.
Magens Bay
Magens Bay is one of the most famous beaches in the world known for it's beauty. It is on the Northern side of the island and is a tourist hot spot. Take a taxi and spend the day! There's an awesome beachfront bar and grill to grab lunch and drinks at.
Main Street
St. Thomas is a great place to buy luxury items like jewelry. Shopping in the USVI for these types of items is great because it is duty-free. There is no sales tax in USVI. If you are interested in purchasing jewelry, we suggest going to Alpha Jewelers in Charlotte Amalie and ask for Henry Chainani and tell him Abbey sent you.
Sunset Grille at Secret Harbour
One of Ross and I's favorite restaurants on the island. A great place for a nice meal and to watch the sunset! They take online reservations at https://www.opentable.com/r/sunset-grille-st-thomas
Skyride to Paradise Point
A must-do attraction! Watch the sunset from 700 ft above in the Paradise Point tram. On the very top of the hill is Prime at Paradise Point which is the nicest steakhouse on the island. Make sure to check the tram schedule because it varies (you can also taxi there). Reservations for the restaurant - https://www.primeusvi.com/
Onsite Dining at The Westin Beach Resort & Spa at Frenchman’s Reef
The hotel has amazing restaurants - you don't even have to leave! For Breakfast: Shorebird Buffet, Brunch & Juice Bar - Westin (best all you can eat brunch, everyday!) Frenchman's Roast - Westin (easy grab and go) For Lunch: The Salt Shack - Autograph (outdoors along the beach!) Edge Bar - Westin (amazing pizza over lunch) For Dinner: Sugarfin - Westin (the best sushi, best place to watch the sunset) The Salt Shack - Autograph (outdoors along the beach!) Isla Blue - Autograph - our FAVORITE! A must. It is $$$ but one of the best dinners we've ever had (fine dining, Mediterranean) Edge Bar - Westin (more casual)
The Easterly
Go and shop in Red Hook and catch a happy hour at The Easterly! This open air restaurant and bar has an awesome island vibe with an ocean focused menu like ceviche, crudos, lobster, and grilled whole fish. All of their dishes have a local spin. The cocktails are incredible!
