How do we get to Batu Pahat?

People can either travel into the area through Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL) or Singapore International Airport (SIN). It will take about the same amount of time to get from either location to my hometown using public transport Most travelers will fly into Kuala Lumpur (KL), Malaysia’s capital city. The airport is call Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL). From KL, it’s about a 3-hour drive to Batu Pahat. There’s a reliable bus route. If you’re traveling solo, this info will be handy, but we could also organize groups to rendezvous in KL and head to Batu Pahat together. We also recommend downloading the Grab app (Malaysia’s version of Uber) for shorter drives once you’re there. Another option is flying into Singapore, which is about the same distance to Batu Pahat but includes a customs/immigration stop. The Airport is call Singapore Changi Airport (SIN). Flights might be a bit pricier, but if you can squeeze it in, Singapore is well worth visiting! It’s clean, safe, and easy to navigate since English is the primary language. Very international

Traveling between cities may require a bit more planning and research. Bus services are typically needed to travel to and from my hometown.

We are delighted to invite you to join us for a day of celebration. We begin with an intimate Chinese tea ceremony exclusively for close family and friends. Following this, we will host a buffet lunch at Abel's parents' residence, specially arranged for our out-of-town guests. The festivities will culminate in a traditional Chinese reception dinner, a grand multi-course banquet featuring an array of auspicious seafood and meat dishes, each symbolizing prosperity, longevity, and happiness. Guests will be seated at round tables, fostering a sense of togetherness as we share this joyous occasion. The evening will be enriched with celebratory toasts and entertainment, ensuring a memorable experience for all.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please wear cocktail attire for the reception dinner. Dress to impress but be comfortable! The event will be a big dinner at a banquet hall – think Sunday-best attire! Most indoor places have A/C, but it’ll be hot and humid outside, so pack and dress accordingly.
