FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP as soon as you can, so we can organize with our vendors. However, the deadline is August, 15th.

Question

What if I can’t make it?

Answer

Your presence will be missed! We ask that you RSVP “No” as soon as possible. If you have already RSVP’d “Yes” and find you can’t make it, please notify Lauren or Abdul.

Question

What if I don’t RSVP by the deadline?

Answer

If we do not receive your RSVP by August 15th, it will automatically be marked as “No.” We will miss celebrating with you, but it is imperative that we provide our vendors with a final guest count within the time they have given us. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, any kiddos that are invited will be included when you RSVP. Parents are also welcome to have a night out!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the ceremony start time (4:00pm).

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal - polished and elegant, but not overly formal. A refined look, that’s comfortable for celebrating. For women, think cocktail dresses, skirt and blouse, nice pantsuit or maxi dress. For men, suits or dress shirts, ties optional. We just ask that you please don’t wear white 😊.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, Red Rocks Country Club has plenty of on-site parking!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There will good cell service at Red Rocks Country Club and the hotels are less than 10 minutes from the venue. We encourage our guests to use Uber or Lyft or designate a driver.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Fall in Colorado can go a number of different ways, from 80s to a surprise snow! Make sure you bring layers, especially if you are hiking, as the weather can change in an instant. As they say in Colorado, “If you don’t like the weather, wait 5 minutes and it will change!”

Question

What can we expect at this elevation?

Answer

Denver is the Mile High City, so you may notice that you get out of breath more easily and feel more tired. The best way to combat this is to drink plenty of water (especially if you’re planning on hiking to a higher elevation) and maybe take some altitude sickness pills. PLEASE NOTE: At this elevation, please be mindful of your alcohol consumption as it will affect you differently, especially if you are coming from a much lower elevation. While we do want you all to enjoy yourselves at our wedding, we want everyone to be safe!

Question

Who should I contact if I have further questions?

Answer

Brooke Montgomery (MOH): 307-231-4583 Karen Prather (MOB): 630-464–8512 Abdul Yacubu (Groom): 720-938-5903
