What if the website doesn't recognize my name so I can RSVP?

Please send an email to packer@bluevalley.net with your name and we will take care of the RSVP. You can also call or text 785-458-9490.

What is smart casual?

Answer

Smart casual is a step-down from cocktail dress and a step-up from casual. Examples are khakis or jeans, polo shirts, and casual dresses. The ceremony will be outside (weather permitting) on grass and gravel. Please wear comfortable shoes.

Are masks required?

Answer

Masks are not required, and will not be worn by the wedding party and immediate family. The ceremony will be outside and the reception will be in an open-air barn. However, please feel free to wear a mask.

What will be served for the meal?

Answer

A BBQ buffet with brisket/pork/chicken and a variety of sides will be served. Cupcakes and cookies will be available for dessert.

Will drinks and cocktails be available?

Answer

Water, tea, lemonade, and soft drinks will be provided. Wine and beer will also be provided at the bar (to those over 21 with a photo ID).

Do you have to be 21 to drink?

Answer

Yes, in the state of Kansas you must be 21 to drink, regardless of whether your legal guardian allows you to drink. Only those 21 and over (with a photo ID) will be served alcohol due to local laws. No minors will be served alcoholic beverages.
