Park City Historic Old Town / No Name Saloon
Looking to get your ski fix off the slopes? There's no better place to capture the epic vibes of a ski village quite like Park City's Historic Old Town. On a visit to Old town you'll walk along snow-covered sidewalks past shops decorated with Christmas lights. There's plenty of great shops to visit and restaurants to check out. If you make the trip, be sure to stop by No Name Saloon - it's an awesome local bar with a western, ski vibe that you wont want to miss. From our recommended lodging location it's about a 40 minute drive, but worth the effort if you're looking for a half day or full day adventure!
Ikon Pass
The Ikon Pass is a great option if you're looking to shred all season, and this will be the first of a couple trips. While the most expensive, the full 25/26 Ikon Pass will grant you access to ski Alta, Snowbird, Brighton, Solitude and Deer Valley - all driving distance from Salt Lake City! If you are in the military, we recommend using Ikon's "Military Bases" link at the bottom of their website to find steps to purchase a discounted pass! While Ikon also offers cheaper "Base" and "Session" passes we don't recommended purchasing any of those for this trip. Unfortunately all of those passes are subject to black out dates December 27-31. Note: Alta is a skier's only mountain.
Epic Pass
The Epic Pass is undoubtedly the best deal for any of our military guests. While it only offers access to Park City, the price is unbeatable. For our guests not in the service, the price for a full pass is comparable to the Ikon Pass at full price but with less access.
Salt Lake Ski Super Pass
This pass is for you if you're only planning to ski this one trip, and looking to get out on the mountain 3 to 7 days! With this pass you can access Alta, Snowbird, Brighton, or Solitude with no black out dates. Not only does it give you access to multiple mountains, but the price per day cost is significantly cheaper than it will be to purchase a day pass directly from a single mountain. And, the more days you buy, the cheaper the cost per day becomes! Note: Alta is a skier's only mountain.
Alta Bird Single / Multi Day Lift Passes
If you're not an avid skier (yet), but you're stoked to get out on the mountain for shot-gun and ski or any other shenanigans we recommend purchasing a single day lift ticket direct from the mountains. Note: Alta is a skier's only mountain.
