FAQs

Question

What Should I Wear?

Answer

The wedding day will be Cocktail Attire. Our venue is mostly outdoors, so light fabrics in consideration of the heat, as well as fun, bright colors, are encouraged! Weather can be unpredictable in the tropics, so we'll have umbrellas available just in case.

Question

Are Children Welcome?

Answer

While we love your kids, our events will be adults-only. We hope the advance notice allows you to celebrate with us and enjoy a night/trip off!

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Shuttle bus service to and from the wedding venue will be available at specific times at our two hotel blocks, located in the Condado and Miramar neighborhoods. If you would like to stay in Old San Juan, there are plenty of great hotels located in walking distance to the wedding venue.

Question

Do I Need A Passport?

Answer

Nope! Puerto Rico is a domestic trip for U.S. citizens, so no passports, no customs, no currency exchange, no adapters, and no roaming charges! Spanish is the primary language, but English is widely used.

Question

Safety Tips

Answer

San Juan is generally very safe and relatively easy to navigate, with many friendly locals who are happy to help! Here are some best practices to make your stay enjoyable and safe: - Wear sunscreen! - Use insect repellent - Don't leave belongings unattended - Use good street smarts as you would in any major city - Avoid La Perla (high-risk neighborhood located on the northern coast of Old San Juan) - Listen to lifeguards and check beach safety flags! While beautiful, Puerto Rico's northern coast beaches can have sharp drop offs and strong currents, making them dangerous for swimmers. The best beaches for swimming are Balneario El Escambrón and Isla Verde Beach. Always check the safety flags on the beach before entering the water. A green flag means safe swimming, yellow means caution, and red means highly dangerous conditions.
