Travel Note

Wedding Venue

The wedding venue is called Le Manoir de L'Étang. It is located in Mougins, France. Le Manoir de L'Étang operates as a boutique hotel. Please note that we will be renting the entire venue for the evening of our wedding, but you are welcome to stay there before or after July 3rd, pending availability. We will be updating the site with a "Schedule" section once we finalize the details with the venue. Please be on the lookout for updates in the coming months.

Flight

Nice Côte d'Azur International Airport

The closest major airport to our wedding venue is Nice Côte d'Azur International Airport (NCE). It takes about 30 minutes to get to the wedding venue from the airport. As you plan your travel, think about where you want to begin and end your trip. There are budget airlines that fly in and out of NCE from other cities in France and neighboring countries (e.g. Easy Jet, Vueling and Norwegian). In addition, we've noticed that AAA offers competitive rates on flights to and from Europe. We would recommend searching through their site, if you're a AAA member.

Train

SNCF

All trains in France are run by SNCF. You can book any and all train tickets through their site. The TGV is the high-speed train, all others are local trains. The closest train station to the wedding venue is in Cannes. It's a 16-minute drive from the Cannes station to the wedding venue. The train stations in Juan-les-Pins and Antibes are 20-minutes from the wedding venue. From the train station, you should be able to find a cab or request an Uber. Please note that Uber is not as big in France as it is in the U.S. You can also rent a car through SNCF when you book your train ticket(s). SNCF is partnered with Avis.

Hertz - Nice

This is the information for the Hertz location at NCE. You can also rent from Dollar or Europcar at NCE. We recommend that you make any rental reservations while in the U.S. to avoid certain taxes in France.

Accommodations

All of the hotels we've listed are merely suggestions of places to stay. There are many options to choose from depending on personal preference and budget. We'd also suggest looking at B&B's and rentals (e.g., Airbnb, Homeaway, VRBO) in and around Mougins, Cannes and Juan les Pins. Nice is also an option!
