GETTING TO TELLURIDE

𝑩𝒀 𝑨𝑰𝑹 Most travelers will choose to fly into Montrose (MTJ), which is the second closest airport to Telluride and an easy 1 hour and 20 minute drive to Town. Other Airport Options Include: Telluride Airport (TEX) is just minutes from Town but offers limited service on Denver Air connection. Grand Junction (GJT), Durango (DRO), and Gunnison (GUC) are three additional options, all serviced by major airlines, and are about a 2.5-hour scenic drive for guests who don’t mind renting a car. 𝙏𝙍𝘼𝙑𝙀𝙇 𝙏𝙊 𝘼𝙉𝘿 𝙁𝙍𝙊𝙈 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙈𝙊𝙉𝙏𝙍𝙊𝙎𝙀 𝘼𝙄𝙍𝙋𝙊𝙍𝙏 If you're arriving in Montrose (MTJ) or Telluride (TEX), there are private shuttle services available to and from the airports, but these should be scheduled in advance. Other shuttle services include Telluride Express (970-728-6000) and Telluride Mountain Limo (888-546-6894). 𝑩𝒀 𝑪𝑨𝑹 Driving from Denver, CO (DEN) is a beautiful and scenic adventure. Please note, it can take between 6 - 7 hours to make this 300+ mile drive, so plan accordingly. 𝑮𝑬𝑻𝑻𝑰𝑵𝑮 𝑨𝑹𝑶𝑼𝑵𝑫 𝑻𝑶𝑾𝑵 Once you arrive, a car is not needed to get around town or for any wedding activities. Telluride Town and Mountain Village are accessible by walking and the complimentary Gondola. The Telluride /Mountain Village Gondola runs daily from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. (Fri/Sat it closes at 2 a.m.) For those staying in Mountain Village, Dial-A-Ride operates 7 days a week and provides point to point transportation in Mountain Village to all residents and guests. Call 970-728-8888 to book your ride. Rental cars are available at the airport to accommodate travel to and from the airports. Tip: the rental car businesses in the airport close early. Confirm your appointment with the company prior to your arrival at the airport. There are no Uber/Lyfts in Telluride. Taxis are available but you need to pre-schedule any trips ahead of time. THE TOWN OF MOUNTAIN VILLAGE AND TELLURIDE

Telluride Town sits at the end of a box canyon and is the more populated area full of bars, restaurants and activities. It conjures the genuine historic feel of an old mining town. Mountain Village sits atop Town accessible by car or complimentary gondola rides from Town and is the newer area of Telluride with plentiful accommodations and a premium golf course. The Telluride /Mountain Village Gondola runs daily from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.

One of Colorado’s legendary historic hotels, the New Sheridan Hotel is located right in the heart of Town. Established in 1891, when Telluride was only four years old. New Sheridan is home to the town’s oldest bar, the historic New Sheridan Bar. The hotel also features a delicious on site restaurant, Chop House.
