Why Austin?

Answer

Living in Dallas, about 3 hours away, Austin has become one of our favorite weekend getaway destinations. We love the relaxed vibe, beautiful lake and parks, live music, people watching, delicious food, and of course great friends in the city! We explored outdoor venues in a few of our favorite spots - Jackson Hole, California, and all across Texas. Austin felt like the perfect fit, so we made the decision! We also love that driving down to Austin can be an option for *most* of our guests! We can't wait to share one of our favorite cities with Y'ALL!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

That's the million dollar question! The average high is around 70, but can feel much warmer with the sun. We are hoping to have dinner outside, so please consider bringing a jacket and check the weather before you come :) Let's all hope for a sunny day!

Are children welcome at the wedding?

As much as we love your little ones, this is an adult only affair. We hope you understand!

Should I wear a suit?

Answer

Make sure you're comfortable enough to dance the night away, but formal or cocktail attire is requested.

How will I get from my hotel to the wedding?

Answer

Transportation from the South Congress Hotel and The W to and from The Addison Grove will be provided on Sunday. We recommend Ubering (12 minutes) if you are staying at The Hampton Inn closer to The Addison Grove.
